Hi there! Kevin here. April asked me to put together a gift guide for those that take similar tastes to my own, which is exceptionally geeky and gamer-y. With the holiday flavour fast approaching use this guide as a way to get the geeky guy or gal the gift that they are truly gracious virtually! (Awful alliteration, always. Isn't that how it goes?)
Video Games Galore!
Nothing garners excitement quite like getting a gaming system for a present. Here are some options for the gamer in your life that is even so stuck in the last console generation.
If they are interested in Sony exclusive titles like Uncharted, then at that place is an obvious choice: PlayStation 4 500GB Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Packet. It includes all the Uncharted games so far! If your looking for something more Sci-Fi themed, at that place is also the Battlefront Parcel for the PS4.
For the Microsoft inclined in that location is also the Fallout 4 Xbox Bundle! I'm so excited to become my hands on Fallout four in a few weeks.
For the Nintendo Wii U, Super Mario Maker has go extremely popular. A game in which users challenge themselves to create the most unique, artistic, and intense Super Mario levels. I love it, and then volition the Nintendo geek in your life.
If you are looking to supply someone with a Gaming PC, but don't want to break the bank, information technology's worth checking out this offer from Asus.
Toys!
My excitement for the new Star Wars is obnoxious. So of course I'1000 going to reccommend getting the Star Wars geek in your life theSphero BB-8 App-Enabled Droid. BB-8 is the piddling soccerball looking droid that can exist seen in the Star Wars: The Strength Awakens trailer.
And while we are on the topic of Star Wars, this Millennium Falcon drone is ahhhh-mazing.
For something less electronic and more traditional, the Funko Pop Dolls are great, especially this i of Dancing Groot.
Books!
A few years ago I read Set up Player 1 and information technology became 1 of my favorite books of all time. Steven Spielberg is at present set to straight the film version, so information technology is perfect timing to buy the volume!
Ernest Cline, the author of Ready Player Ane, recently published his second novel titled Armada. I have not read it yet, however, the reviews are glowing!
Staying on the SciFi line, The Martian which was recently a feature motion-picture show starring Matt Damon is also a dandy story of survival in an inhospitable environment.
Movies!
Tying into my listing of video games earlier, a great movie about video games and the process of making independent games is Indie Game: The Movie. Highly reccommended for anyone who is into behind-the-scenes stuff or video game culture in general.
Ant-Man was my favorite tent-pole film of the summer, and information technology'south available for pre-order now. I'm a special-features kinda guy and so I recommend getting the full package!
